Nanoelectromechanical systems (NEMS) are systems with characteristic dimensions of a few nanometers. By exploiting nanoscale effects, NEMS present interesting and unique characteristics, which deviate highly from their predecessor, microelectromechanical systems (MEMS). This national-level seminar focused on illustrating the relative significance of NEMS in health care and makes the platform for finding possible solutions to integrate the recently developing nanotechnology in the healthcare sector.
